We arrived at 10:00am at The Potters Haven to find that all the children were neatly placed under a Gazebo with chairs and tables. Covid 19 restrictions were followed and our distance was kept. Both children and visitors, looking at each other. The ‘’mom’’ was busy organizing everyone for lunch as waking up 4 in the morning and already having lunch at ten was a daily task to be completed with as much love as her heart can give. All donations were laid out for all to see, to admire and to try and see if there is something new for them. Lunch was donated from one of our employees and her Fiancée. The same few words came from our mouths as we looked at them, Discipline, Amazing, Love and care. “Mom” rules the playground with strict, enforceable rules and everyone adheres to her words. We got the go ahead to do some egg hiding for the younger pre-schoolers. We were once again amazed by the discipline showed as not 1 Child looked or peeked to try and get a head start. When the command was given to go and look for them, It was like a fire cracker was lit. While the younger children was looking, the older children try to direct, help and motivate the little ones to run and look with all the speed and determination that the little bodies had. No amount of good fortune we receive will ever put a bigger smile on my face than that. All the other children also jumped in after some more hiding and all eggs was recovered. We would like to thank “mom”( Marlene Minnie) and “dad” for the opportunity as a Company and as individuals to contribute and make a difference in their lives.
