Stewarts & Lloyds is well known for going above and beyond when it comes to giving back and doing charity, and the festive season is an opportunity to bring that extra special cheer to those who need it most.
This year, continuing from the much-loved Christmas Box campaign of 2021, the branches of Stewarts & Lloyds went the extra mile again to bring some cheer and put smiles on faces all over the country.

Kimberley
The Kimberley Branch chose to treat the children of Barkley Wes Children’s Home.
The children received a sweet packet, a boerie rolls and a cooldrink. The branch also
spent some time with the children and donated Christmas decorations, decorating
their tree with them. Each child also got a picture taken with Santa and his elf,
which they will get to keep.
Pretoria
The Pretoria Branch chose Blymoedig Clinic for their Christmas Box. Blymoedig Clinic is
a Psycho-Geriatric Clinic, specialising in Alzheimers and other long-term psychiatric
care. The Pretoria staff displayed great teamwork, raising a total of R15,000, which
was used towards the purchases of toiletries, art supplies, snacks, etc. for the
residents.
Vaal
The Vaal Branch chose the Lochvaal Emfuleni Lochvaal Emfuleni Welfare,
Family Care, Shelter, Development & Training Center for their Christmas Box. The
organisation, whose resources were almost depleted, desperately needed the help. The
Christmas donation was able to assist 121 people in total, of which 41 were assisted.
Wadeville
The Wadeville Branch chose to gift the children in the Oncology Ward at the Charlotte
Maxeke Hospital for their Christmas Box. From the dedicated employees to the generous
customers, the branch managed to raise an incredible R29,000, providing the children
with heathly sweet packs, soft toys, arts and crafts goodies, colouring-in books, socks,
blankets, pillowcases, and cupcakes.
